50 native teenagers from across Canada are gathering in Thunder Bay this weekend for a science camp.
Indian Affiars Spokesperson Barbara Fritz says the camp in an important educational tool.
Fritz says it gives youths an opportunity to learn about science first hand in hopes of landing a career in the science and technology field.
At least 6 youths from Northwestern Ontario will be taking part.
Ontario Lieutenant Governor James Bartleman will visit the group, based at Lakehead University, before they tour various sites across the region.
