A visiting physician in Northwestern Ontario has been sent back home to Toronto and is being put into quarantine.
The doctor had been working at the Sioux Lookout Zone Hospital and in Sandy Lake and was contacted by the Ministry of Health due to concerns about the SARS virus.
The doctor was from one of the hospitals affected by the second outbreak of SARS in Toronto, but does not have any symptoms of the disease.
A Spokesperson for the Northwestern Health Unit says the doctor was recalled as a precaution and did not infect any patients in this region.
