Natural gas rates going down

Residents living in northwestern Ontario who heat their homes with gas should get a bit of a break this winter.

Union Gas says rates will be going down about four percent
this fall.

Andrea Stass is a spokesperson for the company and says this is the third consecutive drop in gas rates this year.

The Ontario Energy Board approved the rate cut this week.

The average homeowner should see a decrease of about 19 to 27 dollars in their annual gas bill this year due to the reduced natural gas rates.
