Natural gas rates in Northwestern Ontario are on the way up again.
Union Gas received approval from the Ontario Energy Board to increase fees.
Spokesperson Elizabeth Havelock says there are a number of factors behind the new levels.
Initially, Union Gas was projecting a $84 hike but the new rate has been set at $38.
Havelock says the increase works out to about $3 a month and will start showing up on the May bill.
