Bob Nault will seek re-election in Kenora Riding when the electoral boundaries split next year.
The Indian Affairs Minister says no one knows who will be in Cabinet once Paul Martin becomes Prime Minister.
But Nault does admit that many pieces of Legislation will die on the order paper before the transition of power including the controversial First Nations Governance Act.
Nault is also dismissing a Canadian Press report that stated he is anticipating a backbench position once Martin takes over.
