Tourism Numbers Drop This Summer

A majority of Outfitters in Northwestern Ontario saw a drop in business this summer.
Gerry Cariou is the Executive Director of the Sunset Country Travel Association and says border numbers were down about 5-10% due to SARS and the War in Iraq.
He adds many Lodge Owners will now have to pay close attention to the Canadian dollar.
Cariou says the organization will increase its presence south of the border to try and attract more Americans north.
