Kenora-Rainy River MP Bob Nault suggests there is still time to reach a deal in the Canada-US softwood lumber dispute.
Nault says duties totalling 29 percent will not take effect until May which means the federal government still has several weeks to try and negotiate a new agreement.
In the meantime, Nault says the government has several options including raising a challenge under the North American Free Trade Agreement.
