NDP Blames Government For Cliffs Suspension

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says the Provincial Government has dropped the ball when it comes to the handling of the Ring of Fire.
Cliffs Natural Resources has announced it will suspend indefinitely its chromite project in Northern Ontario. Horwath says she’s not surprised by the company’s decision.
She says the government has done nothing to provide leadership and stresses they deserve all of the blame.
Horwath calls this a “lost opportunity” and the project is behind the eight ball once again.
She adds the province has been crowing about the “golden goose that is the Ring of Fire” and says that “goose has flown away”.
