The NDP will have a new candidate for the next federal election.
Tania Cameron, a Kenora area resident, was selected during a series of nomination meetings over weekend.
A travelling ballot box visited Kenora, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and Dryden.
Cameron, who is the band manager for the Dalles First Nation, beat out Susan Barclay, who ran for the New Democrats in the last three elections.
Cameron says no official results were released, but she’s
looking forward to running in the next federal election against Liberal Candidate Roger Valley and Consevative Greg Rickford.
