NDP Candidate Not Intimidated By Gravelle

In politics, name recognition can be everything, and the newly nominated provincial NDP candidate for Thunder Bay-Superior North knows she has her work cut out for her.

Lise Vaugeois will be up against Liberal Michael Gravelle in June’s election, and tells us she already has a strategy in mind.

“I need to get out and talk to as many people as possible, I also need to get out and listen to as many people as possible,” Vaugeois explains.

“Listening and an exchange of ideas is what we need, and what will allow us to build community together.”

Vaugeois states while she respects Gravelle as a person, it’s the policies he represents she doesn’t care for.

She adds she hopes voters are paying attention to policies, rather than candidates’ personalities. (File Photo)
