Gas prices are on the mind of the NDP candidate in the Kenora riding.
Howard Hampton says there should be a gas price ombudsman to determine the price of gas for consumers.
Hampton believes people shouldn’t have to pay so much for fuel.
He says people are working hard enough to make ends meet and economists agree we are getting gouged at the pump.
Hampton notes it’s an issue since the prices for oil have dropped, but gas prices remain high.
He notes Stephen Harper won’t do anything as he’s the greatest friend of big oil companies.
