NDP is Out With Northern Platform

The NDP is promising to reduce wait times for those applying for Northern Ontario Travel grants.
That’s one of the main components of the NDP Northern platform.
Sarah Campbell is the candidate for Kenora-Rainy River and says wait times need to be reduced.
Campbell says the NDP is ensuring that cheques will be processed within 30-days and if they aren’t, recipients would receive interest.
Campbell notes the NDP would also implement an Industrial Hydro rate to help local Mills.
