NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is backing the Grassy Narrows blockade of logging in the Whiskey Jack Forest.
Speaking in Kenora, Horwath stated that the province has failed to consult area first nations and have not respected their treaty rights.
She says consultation comes as an afterthought with the Wynne government.
Horwath adds that First Nations see the lack of effort on the government as a lack of respect.
