NDP Leader Not Impressed with Throne Speech

NDP Leader Howard Hampton says this, like the previous 2 McGuinty
Throne speeches, is laden with plenty of promises but no details or plan on
how they will be implemented.
Hampton points out there was no mention of a repositioning
strategy for the embattled forestry and manufacturing sectors.
The Premier also pledged to study the child poverty problem
but Hampton stresses they don’t need a study, they need immediate action.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP adds the Government failed to offer Northern First Nations a revenue sharing agreement.
