NDP MPP Not Pleased With Leaders Forum

A northeastern Ontario MPP feels more should have come from last week’s Northern Leaders Forum in Timmins.
Gilles Bisson says not much has changed after the one day event aimed at tackling the region’s priority issues.
He says the north still has the same bad forest tenure problems and worst energy policies that we had before Kathleen Wynne became Premier of Ontario.
Bisson adds the government hasn’t changed a single policy since the conclusion of the Forum.
Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle is defending the meeting and says Bisson saw for himself the positives coming from the gathering.
