NDP Nomintation Meeting in Atikokan

A Federal Election no longer seems imminent this spring but the NDP
in the Thunder Bay-Rainy River Riding still intend to select a candidate.
A nomination meeting will be held in Atikokan Wednesday night, where
nominations will be taken from the floor.
Only John Rafferty, who ran in the last election, has stepped forward
to represent the party.
Another nomination meeting will be held tomorrow in Thunder Bay.
A similar meeting was held last night in Fort Frances.
NDP supporters nominated Rafferty.
