NDP Supporting Proposed Tanning Bed Ban

MPP’s head back to work Monday after a lengthy summer break.
One of the pieces of legislation that’s expected to be introduced is a bill to ban teens from using tanning beds.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath says her party had introduced a private members bill on the same issue five years ago.
Horwath says the bill has been a long time coming.
She notes the Liberals have been stonewalling the legislation for roughly 5-years.
Horwath says the government has now jumped on the “bandwagon” and she will support the legislation.
