Questions Follow News Of Consultants Review

It’s still not clear how the Dryden Business Group will be involved in a full-scale operational and service level review.
Council hired a Sudbury based consulting firm to carry out the review at a special meeting Thursday.
Acting Chief Administrative Officer Debra Kincaid says the decision is ultimately is up to council and the consultant.
However, Kincaid says it will be difficult to meet the groups needs for the review given the tight time-line.
The review process will start Monday and a final report is due back in November.
She notes she doesn’t know if the two can run mutually together.
Business Group spokesperson Norm Bush says they want to be heavily involved.
Bush says they will work with the consultant and “get the work done” in a short period of time.
Council will discuss the issue at next week’s Committee of the Whole meeting.
