Ontario NDP critic Peter Tabuns says the cancellation of 758 renewable energy contracts will end up costing thousands of jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars.
Tabuns calls the latest Doug Ford cuts a war on science and the environment.
He says the costs of ripping up the contracts will be covered by all Ontarians, either through higher taxes or cuts in services.
Energy Minister and Kenora MP Greg Rickford calls the contracts unnecessary and wasteful and will save Ontario $790-million.
