The founder of the Dryden Junior Falcons and the Defensive Coordinator for the Dryden Eagles has ended the season on a high note.
Neil McLeod picked up the Coach of the Week award last week at the Winnipeg Blue Bombers game against B.C.
The Bombers are trying to build football in northwestern Ontario and Manitoba and have created the new award.
McLeod says he accepted the award as a representative of all the coaches he has worked with.
McLeod notes football is starting to grow in Dryden, with 50-kids signed up with the Falcons this past season.
To go along with the award, he received $500 for minor football in Dryden.
