The Red Lake Miners have added some depth on their blue line.
The team has acquired 20 year old Caleb Resch from the Espanola Express of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
The defenceman appeared in 24 games with the Express this season and registered 2 goals, 16 assists, 18 points and 8 penalty minutes.
Resch played four games with Kam River last year and had three points before the shutdown.
The product of Winnipeg is listed at 6’0, 185 pounds.
The Miners are second in the SIJHL in defence allowing only 57 goals.
