The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre has welcomed its first newborn of 2022.
Hospital Staff say Sioux Lookout residents Rachel Auld and Cal Zaffino are the proud parents of a baby girl.
Their daughter Ashaya Zaffino was born on January 4 at 3:58 a.m.
Ashaya weighs 3.62 kilograms (eight pounds) and is 50 centimetres (19.7 inches) long.
