There’s going to be a new aircraft taking to the skies of Northwestern Ontario.
North Star Air is showing off it’s latest addition to their fleet today.
It’s an ATR-42-300 aircraft, which is a twin turboprop, short-haul regional airliner built in France and Italy.
The company says the plane is going to serve the east side of their Flex Flight network which includes Fort Hope, Neskantaga and Webequie.
