Wasaya Airways has opened a new cargo base in Sioux Lookout.
Grand opening ceremonies were held Thursday and Director of Operations Donnie Macklin says the new hanger is fully accessible and more convenient for customers.
Macklin notes they accept pretty much any item to ship across their service area.
He notes the old hanger wasn’t a proper set-up to handle cargo.
Macklin notes they are open from 7:30-4:30 five days a week and have 1,700 square feet of space with cooler and freezer services available.
