Classes are back in session for students with the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
It’s a new challenge for Brendan Hyatt as it’s his first year of Director of Education.
He says its been a relatively smooth transition from his former position as Superintendent.
Hyatt says he received a lot of support and guidance from outgoing Director Rick Boisvert.
He stresses it’s now time to concentrate on priority areas including student achievement as well as student and staff well-being.
Hyatt says he will also continue to follow the government and its renewed commitment to equity and exclusive education.
