After months of searching, the City of Dryden has finally found a new city manager.
Mayor Sid Wintle says the city has hired Arie Hoogenboom and he is slated to assume the post in early May.
Wintle says Hoogenboom has a wealth of municipal experience and has most recently worked for several small cities in Eastern Ontario.
The position of city manager has been vacant since last spring although Art Wellington has been filling in on an interim basis.
