New Committe Formed After Layoff Announcement

The City of Dryden will lead recovery efforts in regards to the pending layoffs of almost 400 Mill employees.
The Community Adjustment Partnership (CAP) has been formed with Municipal leaders, Weyerhaeuser, Union officials as well as community representation.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says the group needs to draft a plan that will create new employment and economic opportunities.
Dryden Mayor Sid Wintle will Chair the group.
The initial meeting is expected within 2 weeks time.
