New Contract for Dryden EDO

Dryden Council has voted in favour of a new contract for Economic Development Manager Vicki Kurz.
Terms of the agreement have not been released.
Ken Moss pointed out at Monday night’s Council meeting that Council hasn’t even seen the deal.
He has been assured by staff that the contract meets the criteria set out by Council.
Council did hold off on voting on a contract for Nicole Gale in the public meeting.
Gale has been working with Kurz on a Government Grant and some on Council were hesitant on approving a contract noting that the City did implement a hiring freeze.
The issue was moved into the in-camera session.
