1,200 workers at the Dryden Weyerhaeuser Mill have a new 5-year
contract.
John McInnes is the National Rep for the Communications, Energy and
Paperworkers Union and he says everyone seems to be pleased with the deal.
McInnes says staff voted 91% in favour of the contract that includes an 11.5% pay hike and significant improvements to the pension plan.
The deal was reached April 1st after 4-months of strenuous
negotiations.
