Unionized Employees with Community Living Dryden have voted 80% in favour of a new 2-year contract
Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union Dryden representative Stephen Boon says with provincial funding drying up, he believes its a fair deal.
Highlights include a 50 cent raise in each year of the deal and improvements to sick day banking, bereavement leave, night pay, vacation eligibility and benefits.
Boon says the agreement satisfies the short-term needs of the 60-impacted workers.
