A tentative contract has been reached for Ontario hospital workers.
The deal still needs staff approval, but the union’s negotiating with the Ontario Hospital Association say they were able to achieve language aimed at addressing violence in the workplace.
It also includes a wage increase, and no concessions.
The agreement was reached with CUPE, the SEIU and Unifor, forming a first-ever alliance in the talks.
