A life changing and confidence building program at Confederation College is being hailed locally.
Three local woman are the first graduates of the Community Integration through Cooperative Education program at the Dryden campus.
The course is designed to help anyone with learning, social or intellectual challenges find ways to overcome them.
College officials say students who previously didn’t feel comfortable in an academic environment quickly take to the program, thanks to the support and one-on-one attention they receive.
It also provides participants with community placements.
Brandy Croom, Priscilla Remillard and Rebecca Wurch all praised the program, talking about the difference it has already made in their life.
Dryden will be offering the program once again this Fall.
