New Gold says its newly acquired Rainy River gold project meets all of the key criteria.
The company has issued its feasibility study on the project north of Barwick.
Executive Chair Randall Oliphant says the results are consistent with their expectations when they decided to acquire Rainy River Resources last year.
New Gold eyes late 2016 when the open pit mine will come into production.
