Work at the New Gold’s mine north of Barwick is move along.
The company says its already reached multiple milestones, including its first pour of concrete for its processing facility.
Executive Chair Randall Oliphant is happy with the progress, noting advanced engineering on the site is 95% complete and construction of a temporary accommodation facility is 80% complete.
Oliphant notes with a recent agreement with Royal Gold, a vast majority of the capital required to fund the development is in place.
He says production at the mine is still on schedule for mid-2017.
