A new contract is in place for staff and faculty at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
A three agreement has been reached giving employees a four-and-a-quarter percent increase.
The deal also includes benefit improvements.
Deputy Dean David Marsh says it’s a fair deal that gives the school clear expectations of future financial increases.
Marsh adds the contract is in line with other Universities in northern Ontario.
He says talks during negotiations went well.
