No Fatalities In Northwestern Ontario Over Long Weekend

Everyone stayed safe over the long weekend in northwestern Ontario.

There were no fatal incidents reported by Provincial Police on the road or waterway.

It was a different story outside our area.

OPP say a total of nine people died on the road, six people drowned and one person passed away in a boating incident.

Provincial Police say that’s the highest death toll during the Civic Long weekend they have seen.
