An extra incentive for local residents who frequent south of the border.
Construction is expected this fall on a new 88-unit hotel and marina, east of International Falls, operating as Cobblestone Hotel and Suites.
The facility will include a pool, spa, kids pool, restaurant, pub and a 300 person banquet room.
Falls Economic Development Authority Director Shawn Mason says it’s a $12-million dollar investment for the first phase, but notes more details are expected in two weeks time.
The hotel and marina will be located directly across from the Sorting Gap Marina in Fort Frances.
