New Infrastructure Plan For Northern Ontario

A pre-budget goodie bag for northern Ontario ahead of the provincial budget.
The Province has announced plans to establish a new infrastructure plan for northern and rural Ontario.
$100-million will be set aside for road, bridge and other infrastructure upgrades.
The new fund would be available by October 1st.
The province says it’s continuing to work with community leaders on establishing a permanent program for infrastructure upgrades.
The fund is contingent on the passing of the budget, which will be presented on Thursday.
