New Name for Merged Aid Society

The new Children Aid Society for the Kenora and Rainy-River District is getting a new name.
The merger of the two existing agency’s is expected to take place next April.
Agency staff, foster parents and children were all given the opportunity to come up with a new name for the amalgamated children aid society.
The transition team decided on Kenora-Rainy River District Child and Family Services.
A new logo is still being worked on by staff.
