A new forensic identification unit has opened in Kenora.
Commissioner Chris Lewis says it will help handle the needs of the region.
Lewis says the building has the proper ventilation and safety measures to ensure safety for officers who process evidence.
He adds the facility will ensure that no evidence gets contaminated.
