Confederation College has introduced a new Digital Media Production course.
Last year, the school put its Broadcast and TV Production program on hold.
Michelle McManus is the Coordinator of the new course and says they are just trying to keep up with the changing media landscape.
The program will focus on storytelling, social journalism, marketing, ethics and the latest technology.
McManus says they really want their students to develop the skills to be those ones who are populating the website’s with relevant content.
She adds they will also be giving individuals the core skills needed in the broadcasting industry as far as video shooting and editing on different platforms.
McManus says they are already accepting applications for the two-year program, which will start up in the Fall of 2018.
