A partnership between Hydro One and Confederation College is finally up and running.
A pre-apprenticeship electrical program that was announced in January 2014 is now welcoming its first class.
Vice President of Academics Gail Murdock says they’re pleased with the turn out as 37 students have enrolled.
Murdock notes their goal was 30.
The course is a one year program and opens the door to future opportunities with Hydro One who provided $750,000 for the initiative.
