New Program Introduced in Dryden

A training course introduced to Dryden for the first time ever has
wrapped up the first of 8 modules.
The Plant Engineering and Maintenance Certificate program is designed
for those aspiring to secure management positions in the maintenance field
or those seeking training in selected areas.
Instructor Bert Blaaue says 12-students from as far away as
muskrat dam are enrolled in the 2-year program.
Blaaue says a majority of the inaugural class is from remote communities
who are seeking additional training in water treatment management.
The course is a partnership between Confederation College and the
Keewaytinook Centre of Excellence.
