New Program to Combat Abuse

A new program has been rolled out across Northwestern Ontario that helps deal with the issue of abuse among aboriginal women.
Sheila McMahon says Kanawayhitowin (CAWN-NA-WAY-TO-WIN)will bring more awareness to the signs of abuse.
Representatives from Centres in Dryden, Fort Frances and Atikokan gathered last week to discuss how best to promote the program in their areas.
