New Prospect School in Dryden is showcasing its French Immersion program.
An information session is being held at the school on Wednesday night from 6 until 7 o’clock.
Instructors Renee Sherwood, Candice Nyberg and Celeste Harrison were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Monday to talk about the gathering.
It’s geared towards families who have children going into Kindergarten or Grade 1 in September.
They note you don’t have to speak French at home, stressing all instruction will be provided in the classroom.
The French program follows the same curriculum as the English stream.
You can opt out at any time.
On-site childcare will be provided at the information session and staff will be on hand to answer any questions.
