New Public School Board Strategy Paying Off

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says it’s dramatically changed the way administration makes decisions.

Instead of a top-down approach, the public school board has been getting feedback monthly from front-line staff.

The efficiency review started five years ago with a focus on addressing the needs of students.

The school board suggests the Efficacy Strategy has helped increase enrolment, created new programs like the Hockey Academy and generate funding for a new high school in Sioux Lookout.
