The area is welcoming a new Canadian Armed Forces Officer.
The 906 Machin Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron will hold a swearing in ceremony Thursday in Vermilion Bay for Daniel Arnold.
Arnold will be an officer of the Cadet Instructor Cadre.
There will be a short military parade at the ceremony, which starts at 6:45 at the Lions Hall.
