The NDP is questioning whether the provincial government actually has a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Premier Kathleen Wynne announced Tuesday they wouldn’t be releasing details of a climate change strategy until the New Year.
Minister responsible, Glen Murray says they have a solid strategy in place and have been achieving commitments contained in their action plan.
He notes their plan has been the most successful strategy in North America.
Murray adds Ontario’s move to close all coal-fired power plants is responsible for Canada meeting a significant number of its climate change targets.
