New Red Lake Fire Quarters

The Provincial Government is investing $4.4-million to construct
a new staff quarters at the Ministry of Natural Resources Fire Base in Red
Lake.
Construction of the facility is scheduled to begin in mid-September
with a completion date set for June 2007.
The new quarters will replace the current aging building that supports
60 fire and aviation personnel during the fire season.
The facility will provide accommodations, washrooms, a kitchen and
dining unit as well as a common area.
