The Northern Ontario Policy Institute is out with its 4th Annual report and all signs point to the need for improved partnerships and collaborations.
The document focuses on new ideas and opportunities that officials say will lead to stronger and more sustainable communities.
NPI President and CEO Charles Cirtwell says they will now share their report with public servants, politicians, political staff and public and private investors in order to make policy changes for the North.
Cirtwell says they want everyone to have the information and evidence needed for northern Ontario to succeed.
Cirtwell believes their past evidence has paid off with improvements to the province implementing a basic-income pilot project in Thunder Bay and both levels of government investing in broadband infrastructure upgrades.
